THE FOUNDER
Joseph Patsy Puccio
Joseph “Joe” Puccio is a licensed Qualified Manager and Consultant with 42 years of experience in law enforcement and public safety. He retired as a Supervising Special Investigator – Lieutenant, holds a Master of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, and a Lifetime Teaching Credential. He holds all Peace Officer Standards of Training (POST) Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Certificates. Since 2008, he has been managing security and teaching criminal justice. Joe is certified as an NRA pistol, rifle, shotgun, home safety/protection, and range safety officer, as well as a Bureau of Security and Investigative Services firearms and baton instructor. He has 30 years of experience as a criminal justice instructor.
During his career, Joe served various roles including Deputy Sheriff, Police Officer, Police Detective, Chief Investigator, and Lead Senior Investigator. He significantly increased collection rates and prepared trial investigations while serving as Chief Investigator for the Trinity County District Attorney’s Office. Recognized for exceptional community service and grant writing, Joe was twice named “Officer of the Year” at the Winters Police Department and honored as Grand Marshal for his work with juveniles.
Joe authored safety policies and procedures and served as a safety trainer for Joint County Power employees. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and has completed numerous POST courses and the Supervisory Core Course. He retired in 2008 and continues to conduct investigations, manage security companies, and teach criminal justice. His extensive experience, teaching credentials, and commitment to innovation ensure comprehensive security management and investigative services across California and beyond.
